We are seeking an Avionics Technician in Hartford, CT to perform inspections, adjustments, repairs, and replacements on aircraft systems in accordance with FAA/JAA regulations and technical data. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Requirements
Avionics / electric A/C Technical School or other substantiated equivalent
You have 8+ years of aircraft experience, which must include a minimum of 3 year experience on corporate jet aircraft
Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings
Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status
Own Basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools
Must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required
Must be able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays
Must be able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (if applicable)
A Certification if required by customer (Commercial Aircraft)
GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate
Experience on corporate jet aircraft / commercial aircraft
