Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform heavy structural and sheet metal repairs on corporate aircraft
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, SRMs, AMMs, blueprints, and technical documentation

Fabricate and install aircraft structural components to required tolerances
Drill, deburr, countersink, rivet, and fasten assemblies using proper aviation techniques
Perform layout, measuring, and fitting of structural components
Identify structural damage and work with engineering and inspection to determine corrective actions
Use precision measuring tools to verify compliance with engineering specifications
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, and quality standards

Valid FAA Airframe (A) license required
Strong experience with structural repairs, not limited to interior or modification installs

Other examples of inspection information would be FAA Airworthiness Directives, manufacturer’s bulletins, approved customer data, and Federal Aviation Regulations.
Make final airworthiness determination prior to “Return of Service” on items they are authorized to inspect for any article maintained or altered by this repair station.
Reject any work or parts that have not been properly maintained or altered in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturer’s approved data, customer approved data and the policies and procedures contained within this manual.
