Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license is required. 6+ years of experience in aircraft turbine engine maintenance. Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals accurately. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and in a team. Familiarity with aircraft maintenance procedures and safety protocols. Experience working with ground support equipment (GSE) is a plus. Willingness to travel for on-site and off-site maintenance assignments.

Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose. Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray. Selects the appropriate personal protective equipment for the operation to be performed. When using a respirator ensures the respirator is working properly and is properly worn. Applies spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish using protective or decorative material such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer. Coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer with brush. Heats and sprays wax onto products after they are tested. Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent. Ensures compliance with environment regulations and maintains records in accordance with these environment regulations.

This is a safety-sensitive position and falls under the provisions of the FAA's mandatory drug and alcohol testing requirements, including the release of prior drug and alcohol testing results from previous employers for the past two (2) years Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and full background investigation which may include education, criminal and work history verifications. If hired, will be subject to mandatory random drug testing.

Our client is a complete, one stop FAR part 145 repair station housed in a 32,000 square foot hangar facility located on Sioux City, Iowa's Sioux Gateway Airport (KSUX). They have all the necessary capabilities required to take care of any and all of their clients airline's needs. They provide a complete range of in-house maintenance and repair options from heavy checks, line maintenance, sheet metal repair and fabrication, all the way to complete exterior aircraft paint.
