Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance, OJT and instruction regarding scheduled inspections, routine service to complex maintenance and repair activities on various airframe types. Complete all maintenance activities as stated on the work order, incoming inspection or in a manufacture required service bulletin, CAMP cards, etc. Perform advanced aircraft modifications, corrosion, landing gear or engine removals. Ensure all work is completed per the maintenance manual, service bulletin, client RSM, FAR or other such documentation. In partnership with Quality ensure full compliance to all internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements. Conducts functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability. Ensures quality and efficiency of all assigned inspections, service and maintenance work scopes. Requirements

6+ years of progressive maintenance experience and/or training in the business aviation industry or military. Valid FAA A&P license High school diploma or GED. The Interior Installation Technician II works under general supervision to remove, install, and/or fabricate aircraft interiors, which may include items such as trim, carpet, sound proofing, light structure, cabinetry, panels and other accessories. Prepare and install aircraft interior items in accordance with company operation procedures and quality standards. Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies and use personal protective equipment as required. Address unsafe conditions before putting people or property at risk. Assist technicians, under supervision, with aircraft maintenance requirements. Adapt to sudden schedule changes. Additional Functions: Work with lead and higher skilled technicians to develop and implement process improvements that reduce cost, cycle time, and man-hours using Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement techniques. Make and use simple patterns for own use employing standardized procedures. . In support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests on aircraft as required.

Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years of application installation, fabrication or related experience. preferred. Experience in aerospace industry. Other Requirements: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
