Meet LaTasha! LaTasha Tolbert is APA Service’s branch manager out at our office in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Day in and day out, LaTasha works extremely hard to make sure everything is running smoothly out in Tulsa, and we are so excited to introduce her to anyone who hasn’t gotten the chance to meet her yet.

How long have you been at APA?

Since December of 2017. 5 years.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I enjoy meeting new people and helping them find employment.

What are some of your biggest inspirations within the company?

Knowing how the company was started from an idea written on a napkin and the owner and his wife made that vision what it is today.

Describe yourself in three words.

Committed, hard-working, reliable.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Successful.

If you could change one thing about the industry, what would it be and why?

Not sure.

With you being in Tulsa, what are some great local places to eat or visit.

Charleston’s Restaurant is my favorite. The Gathering Place is a nice family oriented part with activities and also has food trucks.

What would you say drives your success?

Being passionate about what I’m doing. I love what I do and want to be the best at it. Always trying to learn more.

What is an interesting fact about you that others may not know?

None really.

You’ve been able to travel with APA before – what is one of your favorite places you traveled to with the company?

Florida at the NBAA. It was amazing to see all of the Businesses in Aviation.

What resources have you taken advantage of while on our team?

Just learning from the people I work with.

You’ve worn a lot of different hats while working for APA – which position allowed you to grow the most professionally? Why?

My current role managing the Tulsa office. I still get to enjoy helping put people to work in a field they can make a career and I also have the pleasure of developing and growing a team to be successful.

How have you grown professionally while being here at APA?

Learning about aviation and the many differences. When I first started working at APA, I didn’t know much about aviation. I actually knew nothing about aviation. Since working here, I have learned so many different things and now I get to share my knowledge with others.

Finally, what is your favorite airplane?

Falcon Jet and that’s because I was able to fly in one with the team. It was an awesome experience.
