Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Repair, modify, replace or overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems to ensure airworthiness. Complete all tasks to the quality standards of FAA and our customers’ approved maintenance manual. Perform work within estimated or budgeted hours. Responsible for the proper execution of parts tags attached to repairable, serviceable or condemned parts. Interface effectively with members of management, other departments and co-workers. Keep own and adjacent work area clean Able to work any or all shifts.

4-6 years interior mechanic experience on commercial aircraft A&P License preferred High school education or equivalent Must provide own tools Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds. Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as walk extended distances. Must be able to climb stairs, ladders and/service stands. Must have normal corrected hearing and vision. Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles.

Remove and install all interior components and soundproofing materials to meet company quality standards Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production procedures to determine measurements and installation procedures. Measure and mark installation areas in aircraft interior, using measuring and marking instruments and templates Fit and install items in aircraft, using hand tools, power tools, and fasteners, such as screws, rivets, bolts, and speed nuts Fabricate and install supporting structural devices, such as clips, brackets, angles, gussets, and doublers, using shop equipment Test functional performance of installed items

Requirements

Minimum 5 years or more experience on BBJs and Corporate Aircraft. Remove and reinstall VIP interiors to include disconnecting and reconnecting of avionics and systems. Install carpet and non-textile flooring. Strip and recover headliners, valance panels, deco’s etc. with different materials. Install potted inserts, use of various adhesives, fillers, and aircraft hardware. Sewing, make patterns, layout. Seats, adjust, repair, and recover. Cabinet shop Experience, work with veneers and laminates. Removal, installation, and maintenance of sound reduction kits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform functional checks on installed systems Adjust and perform functional test on mechanical assemblies such as drawers, magazine racks, doors, curtain, tables … Install and fit carpeting in the aircraft. Install and perform function test on cockpit and cabin seats. Set up and operate standard shop equipment. Accurately log labor performed into our Manufacturing Execution System.
