We are seeking experienced A&P Mechanics for an opportunity in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, supporting heavy maintenance operations on Shorts 360 cargo aircraft. Candidates do not need previous Shorts 360 experience. We are looking for skilled A&P Mechanics with a strong heavy aircraft maintenance background who can bring their experience to the team and learn the platform. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, with a strong background performing inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, component replacements, and other heavy maintenance tasks in a hangar environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on Shorts 360 cargo aircraft Complete heavy maintenance tasks including aircraft inspections, system removals and installations, component replacements, and repairs Troubleshoot and repair airframe, engine, hydraulic, electrical, landing gear, and other aircraft systems Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and other technical data Perform aircraft inspections and identify discrepancies requiring repair or corrective action Ensure all maintenance and repair work is properly documented in accordance with FAA regulations and company requirements Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Collaborate with mechanics, leads, inspectors, and management to meet maintenance schedules and aircraft delivery requirements Follow all company safety procedures, FAA regulations, and quality standards

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required. Minimum 7 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience. Previous corporate/business aviation experience OR leadership experience supervising teams of 5 or more direct reports. Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical data. Working knowledge of FAA regulations, maintenance procedures, and documentation requirements. Must possess strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Must have own tools required to perform assigned duties. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a Lead Mechanic, Crew Lead, Supervisor, or Team Lead role. Experience in an MRO, service center, corporate aviation, military, or commercial aircraft maintenance environment. Experience with major inspections, modifications, and heavy maintenance events. Ability to lead projects and coordinate multiple maintenance activities simultaneously. Experience mentoring and developing junior technicians.
