Essential Duties and Responsibilities

“CRITICAL” Perform complete major inspection of aircraft, components, major assemblies, sub- assemblies, production tools or parts during manufacturing, modifications, installation, service, overhaul or flight to determine airworthiness, safety or conformance to approved data and Company standards and requirements. “CRITICAL” Apply technical knowledge in the fields of mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, sheet metal, rigging, instruments, test flights, etc. to determine and sign off safety, airworthiness, or conformance. “CRITICAL” Perform conformity inspection of components, major assemblies, sub-assemblies, or parts during manufacturing, modifications, installations to determine safety or conformance to standards and requirements. “CRITICAL” Interpret and check prints, both hard copy and electronic, engineering change orders and governmental regulatory procedures and specifications. “CRITICAL” Determine extent of work to be performed where no specifications, regulations or written standards are available. “CRITICAL” Use precision measuring guides, gauges and laboratory instruments. Is familiar with FAR Part 145, 135, 91, 65 and 21 and related A/C’s Is familiar with FWW processes. Prepare necessary aircraft related FAA, customer or company documents. Complete and maintain reports and records as required. Accurately enter electronic data related to aircraft production, completion and installation operations. Suggest dispositions of damaged or worn parts and the possibility of salvage based on FAA/EASA regulations, company practices or procedures. Work in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures. Perform all other duties as assigned as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. A&P License Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance of aircraft Experience with FAR 145 Repair Station and FAR 43 Maintenance. Able to read and understand structural and avionic drawings, schematics, test procedures, etc. Good verbal and written communication skills to prepare detailed reports. Computer literacy Critical thinking, logic and analytical skills. Pro-active and team orientated. Able to walk up and down steps with or without reasonable accommodation Able to walk long distances, climb, stand, and kneel for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation Pass vision testing, minimum 20/20 corrected, and with no limitations in color perception. Write and speak clearly and intelligently in English Able to access confined areas. Review incoming aircraft flight logs for items of work required to be accomplished at the Repair Station. Procure required forms and work orders and transfer work to be accomplished to forms. Interpreting and ensuring compliance with all maintenance manuals including Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Fleet Campaign Directives. . •Performing inspections only on products for which they have been properly trained and qualified. •Ensure aircraft and surrounding areas are in a safe condition for the work being performed. Redline Inspector will not be required to perform Buy Back inspections on work performed.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years heavy commercial experience along with the 737 GEN FAM classes listed below is required for the listed skills. A 40-Hour B737-NG Gen Fam (Must have Certificate of previous training) Active A&P License High School diploma or equivalent Thorough understanding of FAA 14 CFR parts 21, , 43, 121, 125 and 145. Subject to noises more than 85 dbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolong periods of time, and climb steps, ladders and/or service stands. Visual acuity must be a minimum of 20/40 corrected and must have full color vision. Job requires participation in the DOT random drug and alcohol testing program.
