Performing receiving inspection functions for new and continued service parts for serviceability, including but not limited to, verifying part certification, and inspecting for shipping damage and obvious defects. Performing weight and balance operations using instructions for continued airworthiness and designated equipment. Ensuring completion of logbook entries and releasing the aircraft for test flight or in-flight operations checks. Ensure compliance with all applicable FARs, policies, and procedures during day-to-day assignments. Perform inspections only on products for which they have been properly trained and qualified. Ensure aircraft and surrounding areas are in a safe condition for the work being performed. Being authorized to act on behalf of the repair station. Perform additional duties as may be assigned by the Inspection Lead and Inspection Manager. Redline Inspectors will not be performing Buy Back Inspection on work performed by maintenance personal.

A minimum of 2 years heavy commercial experience along with the two GEN FAM classes listed below is required for the listed skills. A 40-Hour A319/A320/A321 Gen Fam (Must have Certificate of previous training) A 40-Hour B737-NG Gen Fam (Must have Certificate of previous training) Active A&P License High School diploma or equivalent Thorough understanding of FAA 14 CFR parts 21, , 43, 121, 125 and 145. Signs inspection tag to approve unit, or records reasons for rejecting unit and logs inspections performed on aircraft and inspects and inputs data into the management information system, Technical Order, Computerized Maintenance Program Systems, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives and OEM Technical data received. Maintains Technical Data Library to include the update of all OEM Manuals.

Requirements

5-10+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician and possesses the ability to lead a small group of team members. A&P License required Current Valid Drivers license required IA (Inspection Authorization) preferred Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
