Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain proficiency with various types of inspection aides used for the inspection of a particular item. Other examples of inspection information would be FAA Airworthiness Directives, manufacturer’s bulletins, approved customer data, and Federal Aviation Regulations. Make final airworthiness determination prior to “Return of Service” on items they are authorized to inspect for any article maintained or altered by this repair station. Reject any work or parts that have not been properly maintained or altered in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturer’s approved data, customer approved data and the policies and procedures contained within this manual. Support the company Safety Program

Able to read and understand structural and avionic drawings, schematics, test procedures, etc. Good verbal and written communication skills to prepare detailed reports. Computer literacy Critical thinking, logic and analytical skills. Pro-active and team orientated. A minimum of 2 years heavy commercial experience along with the 737 GEN FAM classes listed below is required for the listed skills. A 40-Hour B737-NG Gen Fam (Must have Certificate of previous training) Active A&P License High School diploma or equivalent Thorough understanding of FAA 14 CFR parts 21, , 43, 121, 125 and 145. Subject to noises more than 85 dbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolong periods of time, and climb steps, ladders and/or service stands. Visual acuity must be a minimum of 20/40 corrected and must have full color vision. Job requires participation in the DOT random drug and alcohol testing program.
