Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform sheet metal structural tasks such as removing, repairing or replacing floor beams, longerons, bulkheads, stringers, frames, chords and any other primary structural parts. Previous Commercial MRO experience - Highly skilled Experience with SRM repair Ability to complete skin repair and skin replacements Experience with floor beam repairs, frame repairs, stringer repairs, seat track repairs, etc. Not looking for Assembly experience Experience on 737/767/Airbus A&P license not required for this position but it would be a plus. Must have the minimum tools as required Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors. Must be willing to work any shift. Must be willing to work overtime (as requested). High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site. Reads maintenance manuals to identify and locate aircraft components on the aircraft, and accurately implements instructions of maintenance manuals. Identifies the structural composition of aircraft (i.e., aluminum or composite) prior to performing any work on the structure. Performs repairs on noted discrepancies, and effectively researches manufacturer’s manuals for appropriate repair procedures prior to performing repairs. Prepares and maintains simple records such as work order documentation, logs, and time and material records, as instructed. Follows safety procedures and wears/uses appropriate safety equipment for the work being performed. Reads instructions and safety information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work. Performs other duties as assigned.

Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and to sign-off work. Assist in developing initiatives to meet individual OGSM requirements, as required.
