Assemble and complete the most complex aircraft cabinet components at or above the expected standards of safety, quality, schedule and cost, using engineering and industrial definitions, procedures and guidelines that support the delivery to the aircraft for all aircraft models. Foster positive work environment, mentor more junior co-workers and fill in for Team Leader when necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Works with engineering and industrial definition using 2D/3D data, company standards and work instructions to build aircraft cabinet components
Mentors more junior co-workers or contractors to be efficient and increase their quality of work
Proposes and supports continuous improvement to management and co-workers
Fosters ACE values with peers and help create a work environment aimed at operational excellence
Performs quality checks of fabricated items performing both self and peer checks.
Selects materials from stock to manufacture parts and maintain traceability of materials
Communicate and interact well with co-workers and management
Uses expertise to save potential lost time or possible scrap when rework is required
Successfully performs rework at the aircraft in a timely manner being aware of the aircraft delivery schedule
Handles finished, plated and painted parts in accordance with company standards and procedures
Maintains a clean and organized work area
Leads by example, and mentors and trains junior employees on specific job assignments as directed by the Team Leader
Fills in for Team Leader when necessary
Works in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures
Performs cleaning of any equipment as needed
Performs all other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
5 years’ experience in aircraft cabinetry, carpentry or fabrication
Proficient in all the following areas with low or no rework
Sub assembly
Mortise and Tenon (must be qualified), most complex carcass assemblies
Veneer and laminate application
Final assembly and cabinet installation
Able to work custom inlays, mirror and exotic assemblies
Able to set up and operate all standard equipment or tools
Good working knowledge of math and geometry; able to work in both metric and imperial units of measure
Strong communication skills
Know the importance of schedules and budgets and helps team achieve objectives
Computer proficient
Able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation
Must have visual capacity and muscular dexterity to work on fine detail, high cost products with a minimum of errors and rework.
Able to work with engineering and industrial definition using 2D/3D data, company standards and work instructions to build aircraft cabinet components
Able to solve practical problems
Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Miscellaneous
WORKING CONDITIONS: Typical factory environment. May work in areas with high noise levels. Must be able to work with company’s approved adhesives and chemicals and be exposed to cabinet shop sanding dust.

The Interior Mechanic Sr will perform such typical maintenance operations such as the removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components that require bolting, torqueing, adjusting rigging and safety wiring, including powerplant and flight control removal and reinstallation.

Works with the finish coating process for aircraft cabinets and performs other functions that support the delivery or aircraft cabinets using personal skills in conformance with procedures and guidelines and to the standards of the Dassault Falcon Jet quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work from drawings, sketches, pictures or verbal specifications to stain, finish, and polish cabinets, cabinet parts, and sub-assemblies including inlays, patterns, and special designs.
Strip finish as needed.
Experience working with wood veneers, sanding, clear coating, staining, and touch up on veneers.
Prepare surfaces to be painted by sanding, steaming, filling, and cleaning.
Cover all areas to be protected from paint or stripper with proper materials.
Select and mix proper paint to the Manufacturer’s specifications. May be required to experiment with special paints and related products.
Set up and use spray gun for proper application of urethane, lacquer, enamel, water base and epoxy paints.
Touch up woodwork with brush, airbrush, and/or spray gun, blend-in techniques.
Complete tasks within assigned time limits.
Accurately log computerized labor data collection system for work orders, time and attendance tracking.
May lead or train other personnel on specific job assignments as directed by supervision.
Work in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
Set up and operate standard shop equipment.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of experience preparing, sanding or stripping metal or composite surfaces for the application of primer; or polishing, buffing and/or touch up/artistic background; or specialized technical school certification in related field
Able to work from documentation such as company procedures, preparation packages, etc.
Able to work in confined spaces.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Must have visual capacity and muscular dexterity to work on fine detail, high cost products with a minimum of errors or rework.
Able to use standard spray paint equipment: paint guns, sanding equipment, dual action orbital sander and common hand tools.
