Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Familiar with using test equipment for track and balance. Theory of rotor system tracking and balancing for adjustments. Interpreting Airworthiness Directives and Alert Service Bulletins for application on helicopters. Familiar with using measuring instruments such as dial calipers, micrometers, tensiometers, dial bore gauges, feeler gauges, and borescopes. Adjustments and troubleshooting of engine parameters for oil pressure, Ng, temperature indication, and topping settings. Familiar with common hand tools for applying torque to fasteners. Keeping detailed records of all repairs and work performed on the aircraft in accordance with the repair station guidelines. Inspect and repair aircraft according to strict safety guidelines set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or applicable regulatory body. Perform routine maintenance checks and perform diagnostic tests to identify hydraulic and mechanical malfunctions. Consult maintenance blueprints, manuals, and other documents to assist with troubleshooting and repairs. Requirements

Skills: Analytical mind with a penchant for troubleshooting. Excellent math and computer skills. Detail-oriented with a passion for mechanics. Manual dexterity and physical strength. Extensive experience with power and hand tools, and knowledge of aircraft systems, mechanics, and parts. Ability to make consistent and precise repairs under pressure.
