As an Aircraft Mechanic (unlicensed), you will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine maintenance on commercial aircraft under supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Services and repairs aircraft and engines to ensure airworthiness according to customer specifications and FAA standards.
Removes and replaces aircraft components according to driving documentation.
Identifies, removes, and installs inspection access panels.
Reads maintenance manuals to identify and locate aircraft components on the aircraft, and accurately implements instructions of maintenance manuals. Identifies the structural composition of aircraft (i.e., aluminum or composite) prior to performing any work on the structure.
Performs aircraft lubrications.
Removes and replaces filters, and performs leak checks.
Performs repairs on noted discrepancies, and effectively researches manufacturer’s manual for appropriate repair procedures prior to performing repairs.
Uses basic hand tools or equipment to perform skilled manual and technical work.
Lifts and carries hand tools, parts, and work materials; ascends and descends ladders and platforms; and frequently works in a variety of positions such as stooping, kneeling or squatting.
Follows safety procedures and wears/uses appropriate safety equipment for the work being performed.
Requirements
Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience in heavy commercial aircraft or 3 years experience on large military transport aircraft.
Must have minimum required tools.
Tools must be etched
Normally performs duties according to his or her judgment and only requests supervisory assistance when necessary with regard to methods, procedures, and desired end results.
A moderate to high level of discretion is allowed when making selections among a few, easily identifiable choices.
Assignment is frequently reviewed upon completion.
Duties are performed on a rotating shift schedule and often include nights, weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

The Helicopter Mechanic will be responsible for performing inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and troubleshoot discrepancies on rotorcraft.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Familiar with using test equipment for track and balance. Theory of rotor system tracking and balancing for adjustments.
Interpreting Airworthiness Directives and Alert Service Bulletins for application on helicopters.
Familiar with using measuring instruments such as dial calipers, micrometers, tensiometers, dial bore gauges, feeler gauges, and borescopes.
Adjustments and troubleshooting of engine parameters for oil pressure, Ng, temperature indication, and topping settings.
Familiar with common hand tools for applying torque to fasteners.
Keeping detailed records of all repairs and work performed on the aircraft in accordance with the repair station guidelines.
Inspect and repair aircraft according to strict safety guidelines set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or applicable regulatory body.
Perform routine maintenance checks and perform diagnostic tests to identify hydraulic and mechanical malfunctions.
Consult maintenance blueprints, manuals, and other documents to assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
Inventory aircraft parts, supplies, and equipment, and keep detailed records of inspections, repairs, and other maintenance operations.
Complete tasks within allotted time frames and to FAA (or equivalent) and company standards
Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to perform repairs and ensure aircraft are operating smoothly.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years experience as a helicopter mechanic with at least 2 years on any of the following designated helicopters, Airbus/Eurocopter AS350, EC130, EC135, EC145, Agusta 109, 119, 139, Bell 206, 407, 429, 412, 505, MD500, and/or Sikorsky S76.
A&P License highly preferred
Flight line experience to include track and balance
Must have own tools
Must have a basic knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, FAA documentation
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Working knowledge of blueprint reading, geometry, and trigonometry
IA Preferred
Any OEM school training within the last 4 years preferred
Miscellaneous
Skills: Analytical mind with a penchant for troubleshooting. Excellent math and computer skills. Detail-oriented with a passion for mechanics. Manual dexterity and physical strength. Extensive experience with power and hand tools, and knowledge of aircraft systems, mechanics, and parts. Ability to make consistent and precise repairs under pressure.
