Quality Inspectors are responsible to the Director of Quality for the performance of all required inspections in accordance with the Quality Control Manual, OEM’s manuals, and the applicable FAA regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assure that prior to performing their duties they have adequate facilities, applicable technical data, applicable tools, materials and adequate training on the product they will inspect. Maintain knowledge of the latest techniques and publications necessary to properly carry out inspections. Be thoroughly familiar with all inspection methods, techniques and equipment used in their area of responsibility. Ensure that all inspections are properly performed in accordance with the appropriate technical data, the Repair Station and Quality Control Manual. Assist QMD in performing internal audits in different areas of the Repair Station. Conduct incoming/receiving, preliminary, hidden damage, in progress, final inspection and release to service of all components undergoing maintenance at the Repair Station. Review technical data, Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins. Ensure that all proper procedures are followed for Inspection, Repair, and Overhaul of components. Release for return to service aircraft articles for which they are trained, qualified and authorized. Complete the Work Order closing. Maintain tally sheets for discrepancies issued against the Non-Routine Work Item. Verifies that inspection records, reports and forms used by the repair station are executed prior to final releasing into service. Issue Work Order Package and applicable references, tag and identify parts. Verification that the latest technical data is used on articles being Overhauled, Repaired and or inspected. Ensure currency of technical data is always maintained. Ensure that identifications tags are on articles. Ensure that rejected parts or unserviceable parts are tagged and discarded as per RSM and QCM to prevent their use on serviceable parts.

Requirements

Requirements: 4-6 years years of Inspection experience on commercial aircraft irframe License Preferred Powerplant License Preferred High School Diploma/GED. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs. Subject to continual loud noises. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders and/or service stands. Records time worked as directed by supervisor. Performs work standards that meet and comply with all federal, customer and company policies and procedures which apply. Requirements

Minimum five 3 years of aircraft paint experience High School Diploma or GED required. Familiar with 14 CFR Part 91/121 or 145 preferred. Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English regarding safety sensitive work activities, per FAA requirements. Will perform daily transactions within the ERP system (AMROS KIOSK), vending (POU), as well as research customer’s maintenance manuals. Work safely and follow safety rules and regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable aviation operation with consistent work, long-term potential, and a strong team environment. We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics for an opportunity in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, supporting heavy maintenance operations on Shorts 360 cargo aircraft. Candidates do not need previous Shorts 360 experience. We are looking for skilled aircraft structures professionals with strong sheet metal and heavy maintenance experience who can bring their expertise to the team and learn the platform. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hands-on aircraft sheet metal or structural maintenance experience with a strong background in structural repairs, fabrication, modification, drilling, riveting, and component removal and installation in a hangar environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform aircraft structural and sheet metal maintenance, repairs, and modifications on Shorts 360 cargo aircraft Inspect aircraft structures and identify damage, corrosion, cracks, and other structural discrepancies Perform structural repairs in accordance with approved technical data, engineering drawings, and Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs) Fabricate, fit, install, and repair aircraft sheet metal components and structural assemblies Perform drilling, countersinking, riveting, reaming, cutting, forming, and other aircraft sheet metal tasks Remove and install aircraft panels, skins, structural components, and related hardware Perform repairs and modifications to aircraft skins, frames, stringers, bulkheads, and other structural components Measure, lay out, and fabricate parts using drawings, templates, and technical specifications Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, SRMs, and other technical data Ensure all maintenance and repair work is properly documented in accordance with FAA regulations and company requirements Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Collaborate with mechanics, leads, inspectors, and management to meet maintenance schedules and aircraft delivery requirements Follow all company safety procedures, FAA regulations, and quality standards

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of aircraft sheet metal or structural maintenance experience required Strong aircraft structures and heavy maintenance experience required Previous Shorts 360 experience is a plus but is not required Aircraft-specific experience is not required; candidates with structural maintenance experience on other aircraft platforms are encouraged to apply Hands-on experience with drilling, riveting, countersinking, reaming, fabrication, and structural repairs Experience repairing and replacing aircraft skins, panels, frames, stringers, and other structural components Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, Structural Repair Manuals, and other technical data Ability to accurately measure, lay out, fabricate, fit, and install aircraft structural components Familiarity with aircraft structural repair tools, equipment, and techniques A&P License is a plus but not required Must have own basic tools required for the position Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible shifts as needed Must be able to pass required pre-employment screenings Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety, quality, and FAA compliance
