We are seeking an experienced AOG (Aircraft on Ground) Aircraft Technician to support rapid-response maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate aircraft in Nashville, TN. This role is responsible for safely returning aircraft to service through efficient diagnostics, compliant repairs, and accurate documentation—often under tight timelines and changing conditions. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience supporting King Air, Citation, Gulfstream, and/or Global aircraft, with a minimum of 3 years of experience across any combination of these platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Respond to AOG service calls and perform maintenance to return aircraft to service quickly and safely. Troubleshoot aircraft systems and determine corrective actions in a time-sensitive environment. Perform inspections, repairs, removals/installs, and component changes using approved data. Use and interpret maintenance manuals and approved references (AMM, SRM, IPC, WDM, drawings, engineering dispositions, etc.). Complete functional checks, operational checks, and return-to-service actions. Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and quality standards. Accurately complete all maintenance documentation, including logbook entries and work order records. Coordinate with leads, maintenance control, and QA as needed for approvals and release requirements. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with safety/FOD policies. Communicate professionally and represent the company well while supporting AOG events.

Requirements

Must have a valid A&P License Minimum 3 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience on any combination of: King Air, Citation, Gulfstream, Global Strong troubleshooting ability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Prior AOG/on-call experience in corporate/business aviation Strong customer-facing communication skills Experience working in fast-paced, high-urgency environments Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering instructions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Reads work instructions including production planning, engineering drawings, full size Mylar layouts, process specifications and other technical documentation to insure proper detail configuration. Determines dimensions to layout holes patterns, install clips, brackets, nut plates and like items. Lays out and marks dimensions and reference lines on material with or without templates or shop aides to develop or back drill hole patterns on composite, sheet metal and mechanical parts. Trims sheet metal and composite parts to fit and files, grinds, deburrs, buffs, and smooths surfaces. Installs assemblies in assembly jigs, fixtures or other tooling according to work instructions. Assembles parts into subassemblies and final assemblies using basic hand tools such as, drill motors, die grinders, sanders, polishers, rivet shavers and other like tools. Drills holes of varying sizes in detail parts and subassemblies according to work instructions. Installs blind rivets, Jo-Bolts, hilocks, huck bolts, solid rivets and bolts, drives and bucks rivets to attach and assemble detail parts to structural parts and complete subassemblies to written and verbal work instructions. Inspects completed assemblies for conformance to specifications. Completes and maintains necessary paperwork for documenting processes performed.

Familiar with using test equipment for track and balance. Theory of rotor system tracking and balancing for adjustments. Familiar with using measuring instruments such as dial calipers, micrometers, tensiometers, dial bore gauges, feeler gauges, and borescopes. Adjustments and troubleshooting of engine parameters for oil pressure, Ng, temperature indication, and topping settings. Familiar with common hand tools for applying torque to fasteners. Keeping detailed records of all repairs and work performed on the aircraft in accordance with the repair station guidelines. Extensive experience with power and hand tools, and knowledge of aircraft systems, mechanics, and parts. Ability to make consistent and precise repairs under pressure.
