Reads work instructions including production planning, engineering drawings, full size Mylar layouts, process specifications and other technical documentation to insure proper detail configuration. Determines dimensions to layout holes patterns, install clips, brackets, nut plates and like items. Lays out and marks dimensions and reference lines on material with or without templates or shop aides to develop or back drill hole patterns on composite, sheet metal and mechanical parts. Trims sheet metal and composite parts to fit and files, grinds, deburrs, buffs, and smooths surfaces. Installs assemblies in assembly jigs, fixtures or other tooling according to work instructions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Respond to AOG service calls and perform maintenance to return aircraft to service quickly and safely. Troubleshoot aircraft systems and determine corrective actions in a time-sensitive environment. Perform inspections, repairs, removals/installs, and component changes using approved data. Use and interpret maintenance manuals and approved references (AMM, SRM, IPC, WDM, drawings, engineering dispositions, etc.). Complete functional checks, operational checks, and return-to-service actions. Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and quality standards. Accurately complete all maintenance documentation, including logbook entries and work order records. Coordinate with leads, maintenance control, and QA as needed for approvals and release requirements. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with safety/FOD policies. Communicate professionally and represent the company well while supporting AOG events.

Requirements

Must have a valid A&P License Minimum 3 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience on any combination of: King Air, Citation, Gulfstream, Global Strong troubleshooting ability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Prior AOG/on-call experience in corporate/business aviation Strong customer-facing communication skills Experience working in fast-paced, high-urgency environments Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering instructions.
