As an Avionics technician, you will be instrumental in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex avionics systems on aircraft, demonstrating advanced knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and FAA regulations, often performing intricate repairs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. 4-6 years' experience in aviation industry working on commercial aircraft A&P/ FCC License preferred. Experience working on and troubleshooting aircraft avionics and airframe systems. Knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 91, 145. Experience working with and repairing the following aircraft systems: Autopilots, Flight Management Systems, Navigation and Communication Systems, EFIS, Aircraft Electrical Systems, Lighting, Pitot and Static Systems, ADS-b, Transponders, HF/VHF/ACARS, etc. Military avionics experience preferred but not required. The A&P Mechanic troubleshoots, repairs, inspects and performs maintenance on commercial aircraft. Performs and documents all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Adhere to clients General Work Requirements Comply with Environmental / Health / Safety policies and procedures Participate in 5-S activities Perform all work in a safe and timely manner Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required Operate ground support equipment as required Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations May assist with maintenance at off-site locations Assist in providing time estimates Assist in performing complex repairs on aircraft systems Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ work experience as an Aircraft Technician. MRO/Heavy Maintenance experience OR CRJ airframe experience is REQUIRED. Military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections) is a plus. FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required. Must possess their own tools. Ability to effectively communicate in English aircraft maintenance actions both verbally and in writing. Must be comfortable with 12-hour shift work, which includes days / nights and weekends.
