The Aircraft Composite Technician will be responsible for inspection, repairs and fabrication of aircraft composite structures and components on customer aircraft. Performs work on assigned aircraft including assembly, repair, and modification as qualified while adhering to FAA regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Know various types of aircraft sealant and appropriate method application for sealant as well as aircraft fasteners and basic methods of installation and suitable substitutions. Fabricate parts as required and have knowledge of metal and alloys and where substitutes may be used. Layout and perform complex structural repairs that are addressed in the repair manuals and engineering documents. Perform such typical maintenance operations such as the removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components that require bolting, torqueing, adjusting rigging and safety wiring, including powerplant and flight control removal and reinstallation. Repair, modify, replace, or overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems to ensure airworthiness.

Requirements

7-9 years of composites experience on aircraft Experienced with Maintenance Manuals, illustrated parts Catalog, Blueprints, ATA Codes, Service Bulletins, routine and non-routines and other related maintenance documents. Experience with wet layups Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language. Must have own tools High School Diploma or GED Ability to operate safely all ground support equipment, (i.e., Main Lifts, Scissor Lifts, etc.) and possess the Company operating certification. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Respond to AOG service calls and perform maintenance to return aircraft to service quickly and safely. Troubleshoot aircraft systems and determine corrective actions in a time-sensitive environment. Perform inspections, repairs, removals/installs, and component changes using approved data. Use and interpret maintenance manuals and approved references (AMM, SRM, IPC, WDM, drawings, engineering dispositions, etc.). Complete functional checks, operational checks, and return-to-service actions. Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and quality standards. Accurately complete all maintenance documentation, including logbook entries and work order records. Coordinate with leads, maintenance control, and QA as needed for approvals and release requirements. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with safety/FOD policies. Requirements

Must have a valid A&P License Minimum 3 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience on any combination of: King Air, Citation, Gulfstream, Global Strong troubleshooting ability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs bonding of metallic or nonmetallic materials to fabricate parts for aircraft applications using products and processes are varied but generally not complex in scope. The level of work performed requires some skill and experience. Works under regular supervision applying standard procedures and solutions to meet work requirements. Fits core in panels where close tolerances are required for installation of details for completion of assembly. Performs vacuum bagging for Autoclave cures up to 100 psi. Lays out and marks dimensions and reference lines on material to develop and trace patterns of product or parts, or uses templates. Selects tooling and materials compatible with the processing techniques identified in the work instructions.

Coordinate with leads, maintenance control, and QA as needed for approvals and release requirements. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with safety/FOD policies. Communicate professionally and represent the company well while supporting AOG events.

Requirements

Must have a valid A&P License Minimum 8+ years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience on any combination of: King Air, Citation, Gulfstream, Global Strong troubleshooting ability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Prior AOG/on-call experience in corporate/business aviation Strong customer-facing communication skills Experience working in fast-paced, high-urgency environments Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering instructions. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights/weekends/holidays as required by AOG demand. Must be able to pass pre-employment screening requirements (drug screen/background, etc.). Valid driver’s license and ability to meet badging/site access requirements.

Miscellaneous

Must have a clean driving record.

We are seeking an experienced AOG (Aircraft on Ground) Aircraft Technician to support rapid-response maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate aircraft in Tampa, Florida. This role is responsible for safely returning aircraft to service through efficient diagnostics, compliant repairs, and accurate documentation—often under tight timelines and changing conditions.
