Ensures documents are returned to the Technical Library and/or destroyed, as required, after jobs are complete.
Use and operate safely all ground support equipment, (i.e., Main Lifts, Scissor Lifts, etc.) and possess Company operating certification.
Promote a culture of safety my monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the Company Team Member Safety Manual.
Responsible for the proper execution of parts tags attached to repairable, serviceable or condemned parts.
Interface effectively with members of management, other departments and co-workers
Keep own and adjacent work area clean

                4-6 years years of sheet metal experience on commercial aircraft
Able to read schematics/blueprints of moderate complexity, engineering drawings and technical instructions.
Have working knowledge of SRM (Repair Station Manual) references.
Must have own tools.
High School Diploma/GED. 
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs.  Subject to continual loud noises.  Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders and/or service stands.

Polishes and buffs metals to remove scratches and other defects from metal surface. Uses hand held or stationary polishing equipment such as orbital sander, freestanding polish wheels and hand sanding to accomplish the work.
Selects polishing medium per work instructions such as sanding disks, emory paper, abrasive cake or lubricant . Holds part against polish wheel and/or moves polishing equipment over surfaces of workpiece to remove fine scratches and to achieve specified finish.
Performs minor filling operations related to the cosmetic appearance of the part being worked. Polishes recessed areas with fine grade emery cloth and performs masking operations,
Assists and learns calculation of mix ratios in order to mix paint, sealant and other materials.
Ensures compliance with environmental regulations and maintains records in accordance with these environmental regulations. Performs hand and spray application of primer and topcoat to aircraft parts.
