Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Locate and mark dimensions, layout patterns, and templates, fabricate parts, repair or replace heavy structure aircraft components. Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, engineering authorizations, structural repair manuals, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification Provide accurate documentation on customer paperwork per FAA requirements. Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise. Follow safety program including hazmat tool control and foreign object damage (FOD) Conduct operational tests. Help with general clean-up of work area. Maintain regular and prompt attendance Perform other duties as assigned.

Adheres to all regulatory documentation regarding proper sign off, component installation, etc. Ensure paperwork is complied with and completed timely in accordance with the client RSQM and other quality standards. Follows all department safety guidelines and ensure proper usage of tools and equipment. Intermediate knowledge of company installation procedures, process specs, IOPs, etc. Other duties as assigned but not covered herein.

Requirements

6+ years Interior Install experience, preferably in the corporate aviation completion environment. High School Diploma, or GED. Relevant trade school attendance is a plus. Advanced knowledge of the Interior Installation process as it specifically relates to the corporate aviation industry, in a completions environment. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation. Strong knowledge and expertise with all aspects of the Interior Installation process. Knowledge of the RSQM and FAA requirements as it relates to Interior Installation. Working knowledge of computers. Working knowledge of lean or other continuous improvement opportunity techniques. Ability to communicate in an assertive yet professional, motivating and tactful manner.
