Additional Functions: Work with lead and higher skilled technicians to develop and implement process improvements that reduce cost, cycle time, and man-hours using Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement techniques. Make and use simple patterns for own use employing standardized procedures. . In support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests on aircraft as required.

Complies with all safety requirements and uses all mandated safety equipment in accordance with company, government, and OSHA requirements. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Requires 3-5 years of experience as an Avionics Technician in an installation/modification facility. For this position, a current Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) or Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license is preferred. Must have current driver’s license. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, installation drawings or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
