Conduct all required inspections in accordance with the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturer’s approved data, any customer’s approved program data, and the policies and procedures contained in this Inspection Procedures Manual. Record the results of all inspections performed on the proper inspection forms used by the repair station in accordance with this Inspection Procedures Manual. Be thoroughly familiar with the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, specifications, tolerances, limits, inspection methods, techniques, and equipment used in their area of responsibility to determine the quality of the work performed and the airworthiness of the article. Maintain proficiency with various types of inspection aides used for the inspection of a particular item. Ensure current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limits, and procedures recommended by the manufacturer of the product undergoing inspection and other forms of applicable inspection information are available for reference. Other examples of inspection information would be FAA Airworthiness Directives, manufacturer’s bulletins, approved customer data, and Federal Aviation Regulations. Make final airworthiness determination prior to “Return of Service” on items they are authorized to inspect for any article maintained or altered by this repair station. Reject any work or parts that have not been properly maintained or altered in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturer’s approved data, customer approved data and the policies and procedures contained within this manual. Determine how such items as oven temperature, heating time, dimensions, tolerances, material cutting, polish machine speeds, holding fixtures, and other operations affect the outcome of the production process.Prepares acrylic billet material for the pre-stretch heating cycle. Places prepared billets into the oven using various types of material handling equipment and set the temperature controls. Lifts and positions heated material into the holding fixture, sets the machine controls and completes the stretching process.Operates band saw to cut material to size indicated on the planning documents. Places material to be cut onto the saw table surface using various types of material handling equipment. Starts machine and activate controls to complete the sawing process.Places stretched acrylic material on the grinding/polishing table using various types of material handling equipment. Performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including change and/or inspect fuel, and oil filters, cleaning screens, aircraft lubrication, wheel and tire maintenance such as tire changes, clean and inspect wheels and bearings and servicing on-board sanitation facilities. Mix paint and apply for touch-up of aircraft and components. Complete required repair documentation in accordance with company requirements, Customer GMM if applicable, customer CAMP documents, or customer supplied Flight Docs documents

5+ years' sheetmetal experience Must have experience on 737 and/or Dash 8 aircraft Must have minimum required tools. Tool box must be etched shadowed prior to start High school diploma or equivalent

Shoes – When working in safety and/or industrial flight line environment, shoes must follow OSHA guidelines. Can wear tennis shoes (Black is preferred) Site Specific Uniforms – (All) – Standardized dress at our hangar locations include site specific color uniform pants (responsibility of the employee to provide), blue or white shirts.
