Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Locate and mark dimensions, layout patterns, and templates, fabricate parts, repair or replace heavy structure aircraft components. Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, engineering authorizations, structural repair manuals, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification Provide accurate documentation on customer paperwork per FAA requirements. Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise. Follow safety program including hazmat tool control and foreign object damage (FOD) Conduct operational tests. Help with general clean-up of work area. Maintain regular and prompt attendance Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation. Inspect aircraft, parts, components, and tools for regulatory compliance. Verify and approve corrective actions for maintenance and repairs. Inspect new, repaired, and rebuilt parts for damage, count, and conformity. Ensure accurate documentation of work performed and customer-specific forms. Research technical data and perform walk-around inspections prior to aircraft release. Assist customers and perform other tasks as needed.

Requirements

3-4 years of aircraft inspection experience, with 1 year in corporate/commercial jets. 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate. Ability to interpret engineering documents and maintenance manuals. Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
