The Sheet Metal Mechanic is responsible for high proficiency in all minor through major repairs, modifications, E.A.s, and with minimal supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Troubleshoots, repairs, replaces, and rebuilds structures components and appliances, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units. Reads and interprets OEM and DoD Technical Manuals, service bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, local directives and other specifications to determine maintenance method and procedures. Performs structural (metallic and composite) inspections for damages such as cracking, corrosion, delamination, or other damage as specified in the OEM inspection criteria. Perform structural repairs (metallic and composite) as required utilizing OEM SRM, Engineering Drawings with DER approval or other approved repair data. Performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including change and/or inspect fuel, and oil filters, cleaning screens, aircraft lubrication, wheel and tire maintenance such as tire changes, clean and inspect wheels and bearings and servicing on-board sanitation facilities. Mix paint and apply for touch-up of aircraft and components. Complete required repair documentation in accordance with company requirements, Customer GMM if applicable, customer CAMP documents, or customer supplied Flight Docs documents

5+ years' sheetmetal experience Must have experience on 737 and/or Dash 8 aircraft Must have minimum required tools. Tool box must be etched shadowed prior to start High school diploma or equivalent

Tools shall be identified with a number unique to the owner. Multiple items too small to identify (apexs, drill bits, etc.) will be placed in a container. The quantity of items, to include the container itself, shall be readable on the outside of the container. Each item shall be listed on a “Master Tool Box” inventory. A copy shall be on file in QA and one copy in the owner’s tool box. Facial Hair (Men) – Beards and mustaches, if worn, will be neatly trimmed to an approximate ¼” maximum. Short, evenly trimmed sideburns are allowed. Hair Overall (All) - Will not be worn in an extreme or fad style. Men’s hair will not extend below the bottom of the standard shirt collar. Tattoos (All) – Visible tattoos are allowed on arms and legs if they are not discriminatory based on racial, sexual, religious, ethnic, or other characteristics or attributes of a sensitive nature. These include the prohibition of any tattoos commonly associated with gangs, extremists and/or supremacist organizations or discrimination. Tattoos, brandings or body marks on the head, neck, face, tongue, lips, and/or scalp are prohibited. Hand tattoos are limited to one single-band ring tattoo, on one finger, on one hand. Shoes – When working in safety and/or industrial flight line environment, shoes must follow OSHA guidelines. Can wear tennis shoes (Black is preferred) Site Specific Uniforms – (All) – Standardized dress at our hangar locations include site specific color uniform pants (responsibility of the employee to provide), blue or white shirts. 7-9 years interior mechanic experience on commercial aircraft A&P License preferred High school education or equivalent Must provide own tools Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds. Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as walk extended distances. Must be able to climb stairs, ladders and/service stands. Performs assembly of original equipment manufacturing of parts, components and subsystems for aircraft applications using products and processes are varied but generally not complex in scope to apply primer, topcoat paint, and any spray-applied coatings to aircraft parts consistent with government, customer and company standards. The level of work performed requires some skill and experience. Priorities are determined by management. Reads and interprets specifications and documents to define the scope of work on work orders. Cleans grease and dirt from product. Removes rust from metal with acid, wire brush, or steel wool. Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated. Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface. Computes mix ratios in order to mix paint materials. Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color. Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose. Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray. Selects the appropriate personal protective equipment for the operation to be performed. When using a respirator ensures the respirator is working properly and is properly worn. Applies spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish using protective or decorative material such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer. Coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer with brush. Heats and sprays wax onto products after they are tested. Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent. Ensures compliance with environment regulations and maintains records in accordance with these environment regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Respond to AOG service calls and perform maintenance to return aircraft to service quickly and safely. Troubleshoot aircraft systems and determine corrective actions in a time-sensitive environment. Perform inspections, repairs, removals/installs, and component changes using approved data. Use and interpret maintenance manuals and approved references (AMM, SRM, IPC, WDM, drawings, engineering dispositions, etc.). Complete functional checks, operational checks, and return-to-service actions. Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and quality standards. Accurately complete all maintenance documentation, including logbook entries and work order records. Coordinate with leads, maintenance control, and QA as needed for approvals and release requirements. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with safety/FOD policies. Communicate professionally and represent the company well while supporting AOG events.

Requirements

Must have a valid A&P License Minimum 3 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience on any combination of: King Air, Citation, Gulfstream, Global Strong troubleshooting ability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Prior AOG/on-call experience in corporate/business aviation Strong customer-facing communication skills Experience working in fast-paced, high-urgency environments Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering instructions. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights/weekends/holidays as required by AOG demand. Must be able to pass pre-employment screening requirements (drug screen/background, etc.).
