We are looking for a VIP Aircraft Cabinet Builder to fabricate, install, and refurbish interior equipment and furnishings based on work orders or customer requests. Requirements

You typically have 4-6 years interiors experience (i.e. previous wood finish and soft goods experience (Aircraft.) Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and to sign-off work. Assist in developing initiatives to meet individual OGSM requirements, as required. Additional Functions: Work closely with lead to develop and implement process improvements that increase safety, reduce cost, cycle time, and man hours. Participate in continuous improvement activities (e.g. YIAW, Kaizen events, etc.) Coordinate with other disciplines concerning projects. Perform Lead responsibilities, as required. You demonstrate the ability to break down cabinets remove hardware, inlay etc. You demonstrate ability to strip finish utilizing heat and scraper You have experience with sanding and prepping raw veneer and hardwood for finish including touching up defects in veneer You can mix match and apply stains and paints on new veneers You have knowledge on spraying polyester base coats and urethane topcoats You have experience with Aircraft touch up You demonstrate the ability to mask and unmask components for finish process You demonstrate mechanical aptitude You demonstrate the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings You demonstrate the ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status You have experience on corporate jets (preferred) You have Basic PC skills
