Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs routine developmental learning assignments and applies standard solutions to problems or work situations of a routine or repetitive nature. May perform a variety of routine duties related to any work operation in the manufacturing or repair of company and customer products as required. Assists in performing tasks associated with determining the method and sequences of operation to be followed in fabrication of parts using materials such as graphite, fiberglass, plastic, boron, flock, mat, epoxy resins, rubber and like materials. Assists in planning, fabricating and building adhesive bonded assemblies of metallic and nonmetallic composite materials. Fabricates composite and metal parts into subassemblies for the purpose of prefitting in preparation for bonding/curing in presses, ovens, and autoclaves. Assists in lay out, prefit, and assembly and lay-up of a variety of metal to metal and composite bonded assemblies. May lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines on material to develop and trace patterns of product or parts, or uses templates. Performs vacuum bagging for Autoclave cures up to 100 psi. Learns to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications sketches, job orders, planning documents and engineering drawings. Selects tooling and materials compatible with the processing techniques identified in the work instructions. Ancillary Functions and Responsibilities: Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications other than the primary assignment.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required. Must be able to use small hand tools and machinery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assists in performing the required preparation, setup and operation of computer controlled autoclave ovens that are varied and simple to moderately complex to complex in scope to produce parts and components for aircraft applications. The level of work requires sound judgment. Follows verbal and written work instructions, operations manuals and other documentation to define the required procedure for attaching instrumentation to the workpiece. Assembles thermocouple wires and vacuum lines and attach to the workpiece as prescribed in the work instructions. Loads the autoclave and/or oven manually or by use of powered lifting devices and checks thermocouples or vacuum lines for proper installation. Secures door and assists in initiating the operational sequence manually or by initiating the automatic controls to adjust temperature and/or pressure. Records time and temperature setting and gauge readings and removes parts after specified time. Assists in Identifying and selecting tooling to support the shop floor.

The Aircraft Inspector will conduct all required inspections in accordance with the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturer’s approved data, any customer’s approved program data. Inspector will report to the Director of Quality Control.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform hidden damage, progressive, special, and discrepancy corrective action inspections or testing, as required, during the course of maintenance operations. Perform receiving, preliminary and hidden damage inspections, as required. Enter discrepancies discovered during maintenance. Procure any additional documentation required to complete job function, including technical data, certifications, or approval means. Inspect and approve maintenance performed prior to closing Routine/Non-Routine tasks. Provide an organized, comprehensive data package for the work order showing work performed with appropriate approvals, and documentation of component parts used. Understand applicable regulations from Part 43, Part 65, and Part 145. Identify Suspected Unapproved Parts. Verify the calibration and certification of test equipment and tooling. Coordinate the disposition of condemned parts. Be responsible for conducting audits for vendors and this Repair Station. Be proficient in using test equipment, visual inspection aids as required. Understand, read, and write English. Perform other duties as assigned.

This individual will serve as a technical leader on the floor, helping drive quality, productivity, and compliance while working closely with management and maintenance teams. Candidates should be comfortable leading by example, troubleshooting complex structural repairs, and ensuring projects remain on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and support sheet metal technicians during heavy maintenance and structural repair projects Perform complex structural repairs, modifications, and sheet metal fabrication in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures Assist with planning, coordinating, and prioritizing daily workload to support production schedules Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians Review and interpret Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation Perform skin repairs, panel replacements, corrosion removal, structural modifications, and major repairs Fabricate, install, and repair aircraft structural components including brackets, doublers, panels, and support structures Ensure all work is completed to quality, airworthiness, and customer requirements Coordinate with inspectors, maintenance control, engineering, and management to resolve technical issues Accurately document maintenance actions and repairs in accordance with FAA regulations Promote a safe, organized, and compliant work environment Support aircraft delivery schedules and operational goals

Requirements

Prepares parts for paint application by hand or machine sanding, filing, caulking, sealing and cleaning. Selects the appropriate personal protective equipment and performs the specified operation. Ensures respirator is working properly and is properly worn when using a respirator. Polishes and buffs metals to remove scratches and other defects from metal surface. Uses hand held or stationary polishing equipment such as orbital sander, freestanding polish wheels and hand sanding to accomplish the work. Selects polishing medium per work instructions such as sanding disks, emory paper, abrasive cake or lubricant . Holds part against polish wheel and/or moves polishing equipment over surfaces of workpiece to remove fine scratches and to achieve specified finish. Performs minor filling operations related to the cosmetic appearance of the part being worked. Polishes recessed areas with fine grade emery cloth and performs masking operations, Assists and learns calculation of mix ratios in order to mix paint, sealant and other materials. Ensures compliance with environmental regulations and maintains records in accordance with these environmental regulations. Performs hand and spray application of primer and topcoat to aircraft parts. Completes and maintains necessary paperwork for documenting processes performed.
