Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Installer must complete assigned tasks with the allocated man-hour budgets and on a schedule while maintaining quality standards and performing the tasks within the guidelines of all safety and regulatory requirements. Fabricate, assemble and install products, such as window panels, headliners, decorative panel, access panel, etc… Install main cabin cabinet such as Galley, Crew Closet, entertainment cabinets, window shades, Sideledges, tables, Mid Run cabinet, lavatory cabinets, etc… Install final assemblies (including sinks, water, air and oxygen systems, drawers …). Perform functional checks on installed systems Adjust and perform functional test on mechanical assemblies such as drawers, magazine racks, doors, curtain, tables … Install and fit carpeting in the aircraft. Install and perform function test on cockpit and cabin seats. Set up and operate standard shop equipment. Accurately log labor performed into our Manufacturing Execution System. Complete tasks in quality manner within allocated budgets and schedules. Assist other as required. Work in accordance with Company rules, including but not limited to Safety, Training, Quality, Human resources… Work in accordance with Business Unit rules, including but not limited to Tool Control, 5S… Must present a professional manner at all times. Keep work areas clean and presentable at all times. Perform all other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent At least one year of basic carpentry or related experience Must be able to work form sketches or 3D model Must be able to read, understand and follow any written instruction such as, installation procedure, test procedure … Must be able to use drills, belt, disc, drum sanders and other common hand tools and equipment Must have physical and muscular dexterity to install carpets, headliners, window panels, PSUs, cabinet assemblies, cushions, seats, tables and related components. Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to work in standing condition, lean on floor, stand up and down repeatedly, with or without accommodation Must be able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs, transporting any, and all, interior furnishing and assisting other employees with items requiring more than one employee to transport same. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all company safety procedures. Work effectively with supervisors, inspectors, planners, and fellow maintenance team members. Support operations on any assigned shift, including overtime when required.

7-9 years of related experience Recent hands-on experience performing maintenance on commercial aircraft. Experience with engine removals/installations, heavy maintenance, line maintenance, return-to-service work, aircraft storage, or similar MRO environments preferred. A&P certification is not required, but is considered a plus. Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical instructions. Working knowledge of FAA maintenance practices and aircraft maintenance procedures. Must provide own basic hand tools. High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

They must ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications while interpreting aircraft technical manuals and electrical drawings. Mechanics must be able to follow standard operating procedures and operating support equipment such as external power carts, hydraulic mules, lift platforms, and tow tugs).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform scheduled, unscheduled or special inspections and maintenance in accordance with Manufacturer’s Maintenance Manuals and Federal Aviation regulations Troubleshoot aircraft systems and perform operational and functional checks; service oil, tires, fuel and hydraulic systems; provide nitrogen and oxygen servicing; inspect and repair pitot static systems and provide battery servicing Troubleshoot and perform maintenance/repairs/component removal/installation on aircraft, engines and a variety of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components and accessories such as propellers, starters, generators, fuel pumps, hydraulic pumps, actuators, wheels, tires and brakes. Perform structural repairs to airframes, including sheet metal work, riveting, patching and fiberglass/composite work Certify all work as required by FAA regulations, industry guidelines and company standards/procedures, including interfaces as necessary with various computer tracking systems and using appropriate company forms Make required entries for work orders, discrepancies, and corrective actions, and complete all associated computer/paperwork requirements, including turnover logs Assist and train other technicians when needed Participate in ongoing training opportunities, as appropriate for position Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant license High School Diploma or General Education Degree required. Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Highly proficient with computer based technical data programs, and be competent in researching and use of appropriate technical manuals and industry reference materials Must be mechanically adept and demonstrate the skills and knowledge consistent with industry standards for this position, including an understanding of various airframe and power plant systems. Must be able to work inside and outside under varying work and climatic conditions, have the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and must be comfortable with heights. Must have own tools Experience desired on CRJ and ERJ aircraft, Sheet metal experience is a plus Must have strong drive for top notch customer service and safety, and be a team player with a “Can Do” attitude. This is a safety-sensitive position and falls under the provisions of the FAA's mandatory drug and alcohol testing requirements, including the release of prior drug and alcohol testing results from previous employers for the past two (2) years Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and full background investigation which may include education, criminal and work history verifications. If hired, will be subject to mandatory random drug testing.
