VIP Interior Technician III

We are seeking experienced VIP Interior Technicians to support full aircraft refurbishment projects in a fast-paced MRO environment. This position is ideal for individuals with a versatile interior background who can perform a combination of aircraft interior removals and installations (R&R), cabinet refinishing, upholstery, carpet installation, and interior refurbishment work. Candidates with experience in R&R and cabinet finishing or R&R and upholstery/carpet installation are encouraged to apply. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform removal and installation (R&R) of aircraft interior components including seats, sidewalls, headliners, galleys, monuments, cabinetry, and miscellaneous interior furnishings. Remove, repair, replace, and install aircraft carpeting and upholstery materials. Complete cabinet refinishing, touch-up, veneer repair, sanding, staining, painting, and final finishing work. Assist with full aircraft refurbishment and modification projects. Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and maintenance documentation. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards. Inspect completed work to verify fit, finish, functionality, and overall appearance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and inspections on commercial aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards Complete heavy maintenance tasks including C-checks, structural repairs, system removals/installations, and component replacements Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical data Conduct inspections of airframes, engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, and related components Ensure all work is properly documented in compliance with FAA and customer requirements Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Collaborate with team members, leads, inspectors, and management to meet production schedules and aircraft delivery deadlines Follow all safety procedures and quality standards throughout the maintenance process

Requirements

Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required Minimum 5+ years of heavy commercial aircraft maintenance experience required Strong recent experience in heavy commercial MRO environments required Experience specifically on Boeing 757, Boeing 737, and Airbus A319 / A320 / A321 strongly preferred Experience with heavy checks, overnight maintenance, and structural repair work preferred Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering documents Must have own basic tools required for the position Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible shifts as needed Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings and comply with airport/security requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

Applies basic, and some intermediate technical skills and knowledge to perform various production operations to fabricate, assemble and repair metallic and nonmetallic parts and assemblies for aerospace industry applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs routine developmental learning assignments and applies standard solutions to work situations of a routine or repetitive nature. May perform a variety of routine duties related to the area to which assigned. Uses hand and power tools such as routers, drill motors, die grinders and other like tools to complete the required operations called out in the work instructions. Trims parts to fit and files, grinds, deburrs, bevels edges, polishes surfaces and other wise finishes out the material, part or assembly to specifications. Assembles detail parts into subassemblies and complete assemblies using written and verbal work instructions. Installs rivets, bolts, screws and clips and prepares and applies adhesives. Inspects assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications. Operates production machines and equipment such as hot or cold presses, band saws, and other like production machines to fabricate parts, components and material for production uses. Reviews production and process documentation and production scheduling and planning and assist in expediting the flow of material, parts and assemblies.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Must be able to use small hand tools and machinery Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
