Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Demonstrates proficiency of aircraft systems and theory of operations. Demonstrates expertise in appropriate tooling, equipment, reference manuals and follow instructions with minimal errors. Masks trim and other parts not to be painted; cleans, sands and prepares surfaces for painting independently or with others with no supervision. Reads and interprets aircraft paint drawings and follows them accurately to accomplish paint job and ensures regulatory, emergency and other customer placards are correct. Prepares and maintains simple records such as work order documentation, turn over logs, and time and material records, as instructed. Reads task cards and follows them accurately to accomplish paint job ensuring FAA, emergency and other customer placards are correct. Requirements

Minimum three (3) years of aircraft paint experience High School Diploma or GED required. Familiar with 14 CFR Part 91/121 or 145 preferred. Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English regarding safety sensitive work activities, per FAA requirements. Reads maintenance manuals to identify and locate aircraft components on the aircraft, and accurately implements instructions of maintenance manuals. Identifies the structural composition of aircraft (i.e., aluminum or composite) prior to performing any work on the structure. Performs repairs on noted discrepancies, and effectively researches manufacturer’s manuals for appropriate repair procedures prior to performing repairs. Prepares and maintains simple records such as work order documentation, logs, and time and material records, as instructed. Avionics / electric A/C Technical School or other substantiated equivalent You have 5-8 years of aircraft experience, which must include a minimum of 3 year experience on corporate jet aircraft Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status Own Basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools Must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required Must be able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays Must be able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (if applicable) A Certification if required by customer (Commercial Aircraft) GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate Experience on corporate jet aircraft / commercial aircraft Basic PC skills

As an Interior Mechanic, you'll play a vital role in fabricating, installing, and refurbishing aircraft interior components to meet customer specifications and quality standards. Your work ensures the highest level of comfort and aesthetics for corporate aircraft interiors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Fabricate, install and refurbish aircraft interior equipment and furnishings per work order or customer request Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions) Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures Participate in 5-S activities Assist with additional work on drop-ins and planned maintenance within the facility during slow periods of unplanned work as needed Clean aircraft as required Travel on international assignments if required Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed

Requirements

You typically have 6+ years of Interiors Remove & Install experience on corporate aircraft You demonstrate the ability to break down cabinets remove hardware, inlay etc. You demonstrate ability to strip finish utilizing heat and scraper You have experience with sanding and prepping raw veneer and hardwood for finish, including touching up defects in veneer You can mix match and apply stains and paints on new veneers You have knowledge on spraying polyester base coats and urethane top coats You have experience with Aircraft touch up You demonstrate the ability to mask and unmask components for finish process You demonstrate mechanical aptitude You demonstrate the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings You demonstrate the ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status You have Basic PC skills
