As an Avionics technician, you will be instrumental in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex avionics systems on aircraft, demonstrating advanced knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and FAA regulations, often performing intricate repairs. Requirements

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 4-6 years' experience in aviation or aerospace industry. A&P/ FCC License preferred. Experience working on and troubleshooting aircraft avionics and airframe systems. Knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 91, 145. Experience working with and repairing the following aircraft systems: Autopilots, Flight Management Systems, Navigation and Communication Systems, EFIS, Aircraft Electrical Systems, Lighting, Pitot and Static Systems, ADS-b, Transponders, HF/VHF/ACARS, etc. Military avionics experience preferred but not required. Applies spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish using protective or decorative material such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer. Coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer with brush. Heats and sprays wax onto products after they are tested. Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent. Ensures compliance with environment regulations and maintains records in accordance with these environment regulations.

Experience working with and repairing the following aircraft systems: Autopilots, Flight Management Systems, Navigation and Communication Systems, EFIS, Aircraft Electrical Systems, Lighting, Pitot and Static Systems, ADS-b, Transponders, HF/VHF/ACARS, etc. Military avionics experience preferred but not required. Operating precision avionics test equipment to include IFR 4000/6000, Air Data Test Sets, Multi-Meters, Bonding Meters, Etc. Skills and Abilities: Willingness to work on a team with both experienced technicians and mentor junior technicians with a calm demeanor. Ability to communicate well in straightforward situations. Organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment. Ability to analyze and interpret technical procedures, wiring manuals and schematics, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, complete paperwork. • Excellent mechanical aptitude and a desire to work. Eager to learn new this for the success of the company Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for up to 4-8 hours. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, and handle objects. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally required to push/pull, stack, reach above shoulder level or carry light-weight materials. Ability to work in changing weather conditions. Able to fit in tight areas, (i.e. E/E bays etc.) for maintenance and troubleshooting
