The Aircraft Inspector will conduct all required inspections in accordance with the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturer’s approved data, any customer’s approved program data. Inspector will report to the Director of Quality Control.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform hidden damage, progressive, special, and discrepancy corrective action inspections or testing, as required, during the course of maintenance operations. Perform receiving, preliminary and hidden damage inspections, as required. Enter discrepancies discovered during maintenance. Procure any additional documentation required to complete job function, including technical data, certifications, or approval means. Inspect and approve maintenance performed prior to closing Routine/Non-Routine tasks. Provide an organized, comprehensive data package for the work order showing work performed with appropriate approvals, and documentation of component parts used. Understand applicable regulations from Part 43, Part 65, and Part 145. Identify Suspected Unapproved Parts. Verify the calibration and certification of test equipment and tooling. Coordinate the disposition of condemned parts. Be responsible for conducting audits for vendors and this Repair Station. Be proficient in using test equipment, visual inspection aids as required. Understand, read, and write English. Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
