Essential Duties and Responsibilities

TASKS-Performed with close supervision as necessary 1. Adhere to General Work Requirements 2. Verify quantity and material type are correct and all prior inspection points have been stamped 3. Verify all engineering and shop documents have been obtained to perform the necessary work order 4. Assist with planning machining procedures and set-up machine and part(s) 5. Ability to deburr, cut, polish, blend, and smooth the surfaces of machined parts using a variety of hand tools, for example, grinders, deburring tools, drill, and files 2. Basic knowledge of properties of mild steel, stainless steel, titanium and aluminum applicable to part fabrication 3. Ability to operate machining equipment including both mills and lathes 4. Perform a variety of manual and CNC machining operations, for example, turning, boring, drilling, milling, tapping, and threading on raw material to produce machined part(s) to tolerances and dimensions in accordance with engineering specifications 5. Ability to build shop aid tools to further enhance machining operation for applicable equipment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Adhere to Company General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and/or Hangar positions). Comply with environmental health, safety policies and procedures; participate in 5-S activities and perform all work in a safe and timely manner. Perform surface preparation on aircraft and component parts. Apply primer, topcoat and final spray Polish painted surfaces for finished appearance. Inspect, perform touch-up and polish painted surfaces for a finished appearance. Install sealant and erosion tape. Performs and documents all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required. Layout aircraft to customer specifications

Requirements

Minimum of 7 year of aircraft painting experience Satisfactory results on Pulmonary Function evaluation in order to obtain respirator certification. Formal vocational training or equivalent. Customer service and aviation work experience. Basic PC skills. Basic knowledge pulling maintenance manuals and IPCs from computer. Basic knowledge of regulations dealing with transportation of hazardous materials. Ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and/or aircraft status. Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.

The A&P Mechanic maintains the Company’s aircraft in a safe and airworthy condition according to the Company maintenance manual and FAR regulations. Conducts or assists with all inspections and repairs on aircraft and aircraft sub-assemblies and performs required documentation, billing, regulatory and other administrative tasks in adherence with Company, customer and FAA policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs scheduled maintenance on aircraft, as assigned. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of completed tasks. Troubleshoots and repairs damaged, worn, or defective mechanical components. Performs pre-flight and post-flight inspections on aircraft as time permits. Reports discrepancies to Maintenance Manager or Pilot in Command. Documents maintenance activities. Completes required paperwork, including return to service requirements. Observes current applicable FAA Regulations and GMM’s while performing required maintenance. Complies with Company safety policies and procedures. Maintains general cleanliness of hangar, parts/tool rooms and ramp areas, including operation of hangar floor cleaning machine. Participates in preplanning briefing to ensure complete understanding of the project work scope, man-hour availability and projected completion date. Ensures proper job planning so that parts and other resources are available in a timely manner to meet milestones and deadlines. Demonstrates proper inspection and repair procedures. Ensures that the work order is opened and updated throughout the project in a timely manner. Ensures that squawks on work orders are accurate and descriptive. Ensures that time and parts billed on a work order are accurate, justified and reasonable. Trains, coaches and provides oversight to junior A&P’s. Serves as a positive role model for ethical behavior and promotes an awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles consistent with these principles; promotes and supports the mission, vision and values of the Company. Performs other duties and assignments, as required.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years experience on corporate jets – Gulfstream, Learjet, Hawker, Challenger, Falcon experience is required Experience performing scheduled inspections, line maintenance or sheet metal work on Gulfstream, Learjet, Hawker, Challenger, Falcon A&P License Required Local candidates preferred
