AOG Mechanic (A&P)

We are seeking an experienced AOG (Aircraft on Ground) Aircraft Technician to support rapid-response maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate aircraft in Nashville, TN. This role is responsible for safely returning aircraft to service through efficient diagnostics, compliant repairs, and accurate documentation—often under tight timelines and changing conditions. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience supporting King Air, Citation, Gulfstream, and/or Global aircraft, with a minimum of 3 years of experience across any combination of these platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Respond to AOG service calls and perform maintenance to return aircraft to service quickly and safely. Troubleshoot aircraft systems and determine corrective actions in a time-sensitive environment. Perform inspections, repairs, removals/installs, and component changes using approved data. Use and interpret maintenance manuals and approved references (AMM, SRM, IPC, WDM, drawings, engineering dispositions, etc.). Complete functional checks, operational checks, and return-to-service actions. Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and quality standards. Accurately complete all maintenance documentation, including logbook entries and work order records. Coordinate with leads, maintenance control, and QA as needed for approvals and release requirements. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with safety/FOD policies. Communicate professionally and represent the company well while supporting AOG events.

Requirements

Must have a valid A&P License Minimum 3 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience on any combination of: King Air, Citation, Gulfstream, Global Strong troubleshooting ability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Our client, is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to support helicopter maintenance operations across multiple rotorcraft platforms. APA Services is facilitating the hiring process, including candidate screening and interview coordination, with the intent of placing candidates into a long-term role that transitions to direct employment with our client following a short evaluation period. In this role, the A&P Mechanic will perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of helicopter mechanical systems in accordance with FAA regulations, approved maintenance data, and repair station standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Familiar with using test equipment for track and balance. Theory of rotor system tracking and balancing for adjustments. Familiar with using measuring instruments such as dial calipers, micrometers, tensiometers, dial bore gauges, feeler gauges, and borescopes. Adjustments and troubleshooting of engine parameters for oil pressure, Ng, temperature indication, and topping settings. Familiar with common hand tools for applying torque to fasteners. Keeping detailed records of all repairs and work performed on the aircraft in accordance with the repair station guidelines. Inspect and repair aircraft according to strict safety guidelines set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or applicable regulatory body. Perform routine maintenance checks and perform diagnostic tests to identify hydraulic and mechanical malfunctions. Consult maintenance blueprints, manuals, and other documents to assist with troubleshooting and repairs. Inventory aircraft parts, supplies, and equipment, and keep detailed records of inspections, repairs, and other maintenance operations. Complete tasks within allotted time frames and to FAA (or equivalent) and company standards. Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to perform repairs and ensure aircraft are operating smoothly.

Extensive experience with power and hand tools, and knowledge of aircraft systems, mechanics, and parts. Ability to make consistent and precise repairs under pressure. Communicate Outside Process (OSP) shortages and critical material requirements with MRP Controller, Scheduling, Purchasing, Section Leads, and Product Managers. Track critical shortages and update / communicate critical shortage reports to provide priority to receiving and warehouse. Identify, communicate Quality Notification delays. Modify demand allocations for specific jobs as required. Work with Engineering as needs arise to identify the need to modify the standard bills of materials. Amend usage decisions/ errors in inspection lots and warehouse returns. Initiate new part set ups, as required, for items not previously procured. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory in warehouse or non-warehouse managed locations and cycle count activity. Assist operations in problem solving issues as they pertain to labor and materials: -Review pick list, TR dates and stock requirements/allocations to ensure material issues from stores are completed in a timely manner according to job priorities and material availability, liaising with the warehouse staff and manager. - Control and processing of structural component swaps/RERE process and ensuring system transaction and documentation traceability.

A&P Mechanic

A&P Mechanic will perform skilled work to identify, remove, and install aircraft components and to perform servicing of engines and aircraft accessories to ensure airworthiness according to customer specifications and FAA standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Primary duties will be flight control Removals, balancing and reinstallation as well as panels and aerodynamic fairing removal and re installations as well as defueling. Perform skilled work to identify, remove, and install aircraft components Perform servicing of engines and aircraft accessories Remove and install aircraft engines Rig and adjust aircraft secondary systems

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience as an A&P Mechanic with experience on Dash-8 or King Air aircraft Must be fluent in English. A&P license required High School Diploma or Equivalent Bring your own tools, they must be etched and shadowed and shall be identified with a number unique to the owner.

Miscellaneous

Facial Hair – Beards and mustaches, if worn, will be neatly trimmed to an approximate ¼” maximum. Short, evenly trimmed sideburns are allowed. Tattoos – Visible tattoos are allowed on arms and legs if they are not discriminatory based on racial, sexual, religious, ethnic, or other characteristics or attributes of a sensitive nature. These include the prohibition of any tattoos commonly associated with gangs, extremists and/or supremacist organizations or discrimination. Tattoos, brandings or body marks on the head, neck, face, tongue, lips, and/or scalp are prohibited. Hand tattoos are limited to one single-band ring tattoo, on one finger, on one hand. Shoes – When working in safety and/or industrial flight line environment, shoes must follow OSHA guidelines.
