Summary Statement: Applies thorough understanding of administrative concepts, practices and procedures and a general knowledge of industry standards and government regulations related to performing moderately complex administrative/clerical tasks in such functional areas as finance, purchasing, or human resources or for a specific project, business, technical unit. Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities: Plans and accomplishes a complete range of assignments and tasks that are varied and moderately complex to complex in such functional areas as finance, purchasing, or human resources or for a specific project, business or technical unit. Assignments and tasks require the use of experience and judgment to determine appropriate action selected from established alternatives. Work is accomplished under general supervision and written or verbal guidelines. Collects data and prepares reports and statistics relating to financial, technical/scientific or specialized terminology. Coordinates flow of work performed and may coordinate travel schedules and make meeting and conference arrangements. Requires good knowledge of inter-related organization paperwork, operating procedures and company policies, and computer experience. Provides leadership and serves as a technical resource to others in the resolution of moderately complex to complex problems. Trains, orients, and reviews the work of less experienced Stakeholders as required and provides instruction and advice to those less experienced. May have some lead responsibilities. Composes and types routine correspondence, researches files and records, and may make personal contact to obtain specific information; prepares detailed reports; answers telephones and refers messages. Sets up and maintains alphabetical, numerical, and subject filing systems. Operates word processor or personal computer equipment to generate tables, charts, memorandums, reports and other material requiring speed and accuracy. Makes travel and meeting arrangements & appointments. Ancillary Functions and Responsibilites: Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications other than the primary assignment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II Formal Education, Training and Work Experience: Experience may be substituted for the formal education and training requirements in this section at the discretion of management. High School Diploma, GED or equivalent plus six (6) to twelve (12) months of college, training or equivalent and four (4) to seven (7) years experience required.
